Smoothie to eat

I love smoothies. But I prefer to eat them. That's because I love ice cream and a thick smoothie is better than ice cream, better in taste and better for our health. So I love smoothies mixed with nuts, seeds, flakes and whatever makes it chewable and crunchy. It also adds more protein and fat. Today I spontaneously came up with this recipe. And it is delicious, so I had to share it.

It is simple layering. Some ingredients you have to prepare ahead, and you can use other ingredients available. But this combination was really tasty.

From bottom to top:

1/2 cup of coconut yogurt

2 tablespoons of almond butter

1 cup of blueberry smoothie *

Top with strawberries, blueberries, coconut flakes, pecans and nut cluster pieces (I had made previously with nuts, seeds and dried cranberries)

That's it! Very easy, the secret is to choose ingredients that will complement each other in texture and sweetness.

*3/4 C of frozen blueberries blended with a little almond milk and 1 scoop of plant protein - I use Sun Warrior Vanilla
