Delicious Protein Balls
I think protein balls are the perfect snack. There are different recipes out there, but this one is simple and delicious. This is a guilt-free recipe because there are only healthy ingredients. And yes, they satisfy your snack crave, be it sweet or salty, they are easy to prepare and transport. Too good to be true? Try it for yourself.
1 Tbsp chopped sunflower seeds
3 chopped dates
2 Tbsp Tahini (raw tahini is better)
1/2 cup cashew nut butter
3 Tbsp coconut flour
1 Tbsp plant protein powder (I use Sun Warrior Vanilla Blend)
1 Tbsp raw honey
1 Tbsp chia seeds
a pinch of sea or himalayan salt
3 Tbsp of shredded coconut (to roll the balls in)
Combine all the ingredients in a medium size bowl using a wooden spoon until becoming a smooth mixture. Make small balls and roll them on a plate where the shredded coconut is. Take to the fridge for at least 1 hour. Enjoy them!
Makes approximately 10 balls.
